Camp Information

Time: Camp is from June through the end of August. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 6:45am to 6:15pm.
Programs: Includes fieldtrips, snacks, arts, gym, academic support, reading, computers, games, Creative and Performing arts, Sports, fun and interaction with other children
Cost: Extremely competitive pricing. Flexible programs available.. Please call for more details.
Who Can Attend: All Children ages 5-12 Years of age
What to Bring: Nothing. Breakfast, Lunch and Snack is provided by the Center.
We are a full licensed facility.

Day Camp

¨ Day camp is open to all campers and includes:

¨ Field Trips

Coaching and Supervision

All personnel will be adequately certified to work with children. Staff members are certified in CPR, BSAC, First Aid.

Does my child need to wear their camp tee shirt everyday?

We would like to encourage you to have your child wear their tee shirt everyday as it makes it much easier for our counselors to recognize the children in our day camp. One tee shirt is given to you on the first day of camp and additional shirts are available for purchase. However, it is at your discretion and they should please wear it on all Field trips.

Is there an additional discount if I have more than one child?

Yes, the second sibling is 10% off the regular tuition.

Can my child attend camp with a friend?It depends. They would be responsible for the entire week of camp.

How are children grouped?

Children are grouped with children of their own age. If you would like to be in the same group as a friend, just ask.

What will my children need to bring each day?

Campers need to be prepared to play outside and have lots of fun. They should wear (or bring) sturdy shoes to get wet in when they go for the weekly swim sessions. They should bring sunscreen, a bathing suit, and a towel on the allotted day. Please be sure your child's name is on everything he or she brings to camp. We recommend that no clothing or objects of value be brought to camp as we can not be responsible for misplaced items.

Is food provided?

Yes Food is provided. However on some special days we will order pizza and parents have the option to pay for their child if they want to participate.

What is your cancellation policy?

With adequate notice there are no cancellation fees. However if no notice is given, the parents are still responsible for the whole week or upcoming week this is determined on a case by case basis.

Will my Child be able to swim?

Yes! Swimming is available at Winchester Swim Club. A certified lifeguard will be on duty. Weekly.

What is the ratio of children per counselor?

1-15

Is there an overnight?

No. Due to various reasons, we do not have an overnight.

What background, qualifications, and training do the counselors have?

All counselors have had experience with children and are Red Cross Adult/Child/Infant CPR and First Aid trained. Counselors work together under supervision of the director to facilitate an exciting and fun learning environment and promote a safe place for children to explore and grow socially and individually throughout the summer.
